Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has promoted talented youngster Xavier Mbuyamba to first-team training during the international break.Mbuyamba, who has been dubbed the 'next Virgil van Dijk' thanks to his towering 6ft 5in frame, was signed to the club by former Blues boss Frank Lampard last summer following his release from Barcelona.He joined the Catalan giants from Dutch side MVV Maastricht but a number of Europe's biggest clubs had also shown interest in him.The likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Real Madrid had been linked with the 19-year-old after he became Maastricht's youngest-ever senior player at the age of 16.After making 11 senior appearances for the Dutch outfit, he was invited on trial with the Blues, but the club's transfer ban.
