New car tax changes might not apply to thousands of motorists in the UK

Car tax changes were introduced in April which has helped motorists save a whopping £7,000 on vehicle costs. Those who buy fully-electric cars under a company salary will save on national insurance and income tax contributions each month.

But these new rules were not known to almost a third of fleet managers in the UK with sectors set to miss out on the major changes.

A new study from electric car experts Go Ultra Low found that 32% of fleet managers were unaware of the features. And the UK fleet market accounted for 53.3% of the overall 2.3 million car registrations last year.
