A parent has been threatened with police action by their neighbour if they don't 'limit' their child's time outside. In a video posted on social media, the parent shared a letter in which the neighbour says her daughter's loud playtime was upsetting their pets. The video shared on TikTok, begins with a note hanging out of the parent's door with the words 'To Neighbour' written on it.
The parent then opens the note which begins with the neighbour stating their issue with them had been a long running affair, reports Hull Live. However, they had failed to bring it up before in the hopes that the parent would correct the problem by themselves.
The note then continues stating that for a week the parent has allowed their daughter to run freely around their back garden amidst the nice weather in the area. The neighbour alleges that the child has been 'carrying on without end' alongside laughing and giggling whilst in their own back garden.
This behaviour is the crux of their issue with the family as it is 'disruptive' for the neighbour's pets who like to look into the garden. The neighbour then asks if the parent can ask their child to calm down whilst outside or at the very least limit her time outside to less than 30 minutes per day.
