The National Trust will begin to reopen some of its parks and gardens next week, including several of Greater Manchester's most popular spots.
The trust has been gradually reopening many of its countryside and coastal locations across England over the last few weeks but has left houses, parks and gardens closed until now.
The phased reopening will see six sites across the north of England reopen on June 3. This includes Quarry Bank in Cheshire, Dunham Massey in Greater Manchester, and Lyme Park in Cheshire.
The houses at all sites will remain closed in line with government guidance, and all sites in Wales are still shut. Visitors will need to pre-book before they visit sites in June, a system that has been in place at several popular
