The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and recently teased joining a 'new club', before revealing he was actually starting a new Elche-based youth project to coach youngsters called Club CostaCity.
Saul is currently under contract at Atletico until 2026 and, despite the interest from elsewhere, it appears as though the 25-year-old is staying put. "Somebody like Saul doesn’t need anybody to push him.
He’s so good and everybody knows that and they know a lot of clubs want him", Barnett told SportWitness. "But he’s already at a very big club.
