After the success of Netflix’s first original African production ‘Queen Sono’, the streaming giant is already working at securing more African content for its African viewers.
Now, the service has announced that its next original African production ‘Blood & Water’ will make its debut on the platform on 20 May 2020 – and rapper Nasty C has bagged his first acting job on the series.
The series, which stars Ama Qamata, Arno Greef, Natasha Thahane, Cindy Mahlangu, Thabang Molaba and Gail Mabalane, tells the story of a young girl who engineers a transfer to a prestigious school to investigate the 17-year-old cold case of her older sister who was abducted at birth.
