The 48-year-old’s death was treated as ‘unexplained’ by detectives who on Saturday announced they had arrested and charged a man in connection.
Mark Campbell, from Lochgelly, appeared in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday.The 35-year-old faced a charge of assault, murder and previously envince malice and ill-will.The second half of the charge means that the alleged murder is believed to have been aggravated by previous hostile behaviour towards Ms Fitzpatrick.The Daily Record and Sunday Mail have always been at the forefront.
