B&M wouldn't stick to her walls.Miriam Beck, 46, from Bathgate, West Lothian was excited to 'spruce up' her living room with snazzy new glittery walls but has given up as her wallpaper refuses to stay up, the Daily Record reports. The exasperated mum-of-four says she has never had any issues with wallpaper before and has even resorted to heavy duty super glues but nothing will get her recent purchase to stick.Miriam is determined to get bargain supermarket B&M to apologise for the supposedly faulty product but a spokesman has instead accused her of simply not following instructions.
Miriam spent a total of £146 on the paper, paint and brushes for her DIY project with the wallpaper rolls priced at £20 each.
But her home makeover soon turned into a disaster after seven failed attempts at sticking the paper to her living room walls. She told the Record: "Normally, I am good at putting up wallpaper - I have done my whole house myself from top to bottom."I wouldn't say I have qualifications, but I know what I need for the job at hand.
It's frustrating and infuriating.""I would put it up one day and the following morning I would go into the living room and see it had fallen down."It kept happening again and again to the point where I had to take it down and clean the walls to restart."I wish I had just painted them.
