Mum caused death of partner's aunt crashing into lorry while taking her home from hospital

pulled out into the path of a lorry. Victoria Peverley, 32, had only just passed her driving test four weeks prior to offering to take her partner's aunt, Kathleen Marshall, to a medical appointment.

But as they headed home from Wansbeck General Hospital, Ashington, happy at what the 70-year-old had been told from receiving test results, disaster struck.

Chronicle Live reports that as Peverley turned right at a junction outside the hospital, she did not notice a goods vehicle hurtling their way and pulled out into its path.
