The mother of a nurse who died in her sleep while staying at a friend's house says she doesn't know how her family will cope without her.
Andrea MacDonald, 32, passed away suddenly on Thursday night in Inverness, where she was staying with a friend. Her cause of her death has not yet been established, although police say it is not being treated as suspicious.
Andrea's death has left her family "devastated and utterly heartbroken," her mum Allison said. She described her daughter as a “very special, unique and wonderful girl” who was the “kindest soul you’d ever meet”.
