Jose Mourinho has showed critics who laughed at his “greatest Manchester United achievements” he was right, says Robbie Savage.The Portuguese manager spent two-and-a-half seasons at Old Trafford, winning the Europa League and Carabao Cup.But the 57-year-old’s self-proclaimed “greatest achievement” was taking them to second in the 2017/18 Premier League campaign behind rivals Manchester City.
It saw Mourinho face fierce criticism before getting the sack in December the following season. With his Tottenham side sitting second in the Premier League table ahead of a massive clash against Pep Guardiola’s side, though, Savage believes the Portuguese boss has turned the tables.
