Michail Antonio ‘wants West Ham stay’ long term with contract running down
dailystar.co.ukWest Ham after entering the final year of his contract at the London Stadium.The 30-year-old has been in solid form for David Moyes’ side during Project Restart; scoring and assisting in their crucial 3-2 victory over Chelsea last week, while also finding the back of the net in Sunday’s 2-2 draw away at Newcastle.While he hasn’t exactly been prolific, with four goals to show for 19 appearances, Antonio has been one of a few bright sparks in an otherwise underperforming side this term.And according to The Athletic, the striker is determined to sign a new West Ham deal and see out the rest of his career at the club.The Hammers have the option to offer him a one-year contract extension next summer, although discussions are yet to get underway.
