Jack Wilshere has painfully conceded that his free transfer from Arsenal to West Ham has not worked out for either him or the club who pay him £100,00-per-week.
Wilshere became Arsenal's youngest ever league debutant at the age of 16 years, 256 days but he was not rewarded with a new contract after injuries restricted the midfielder to less than 200 appearances in a decade.
West Ham took a punt on the undeniably talented playmaker, handing him a three year contract worth over £15m in their quest to attain Champions League football.
However, Wilshere has made just a total of 16 appearances for the Hammers in an injury-hit two seasons at the London Stadium.
