West Ham could have to play in front of an athletics track if the Premier League season is extended amid the coronavirus pandemic.
That is because the Anniversary Games are set for July 4 and 5 at the London Stadium, usually a time when the season is finished.
As things stand all Premier League fixtures have been postponed until at least April 30 but it is highly likely that there will be no play on this date.
COV-19 is spreading more and more every day and dates continue to be put back for normality to be resumed. New UK Athletics boss Joanna Coates has called on West Ham to waive their tenancy rights, which see matches take priority over other activities.
