Selma Blair Granted Restraining Order Against Ex-Boyfriend Ron Carlson After He Allegedly Attacked Her

Back on February 25, the 49-year-old actress filed for a protective order alleging that her ex Ron Carson – whom she dated for about seven years – physically attacked her several days before on February 22. She had just finished a multiple sclerosis treatment a few minutes prior, which she says left her weak. After they returned their respective keys to each other, Selma told Ron that she wasn’t feeling well.
In response, Selma alleges that Ron verbally assaulted her, yelling that she is “useless,” adding: “I don’t f–king deserve this, I can do so much better than you.” Selma goes on to allege that Ron then “became engaged” and physically attacked her, “jumping on top of her body while she was lying prone on the sofa.” She also claims he “strangled her, throttling her and shaking her head and shoulders aggressively.” In her court filing, Selma says in self-defense she put her fingers in Ron‘s eyes and mouth as she screamed for help from her housekeeper, who was upstairs at the time. Ron then allegedly put his hand over her mouth and face, “pushing it into the couch,” which Selma says made her “unable to breathe.” Selma alleges she briefly lost consciousness before Ron allegedly slapped her, pushed the side of her head, “causing her to fall back to the floor and begin to bleed from her nose.” After Ron left, Selma called the Los Angeles Police Department, who arrived that night.
