Former Arsenal ace Jack Wilshere has explained the major change that Mikel Arteta has made to the Gunners since taking over as boss.
Arteta replaced Unai Emery in December and has seen the Premier League giants improve in recent weeks before the coronavirus pandemic put a halt to football.
A large part of that improvement has been in defence with Arsenal conceding just 12 goals in Arteta’s 15 matches in charge. And current West Ham midfielder Wilshere, who was a team-mate of Arteta’s at the Emirates, has been impressed by Arsenal’s defence under the Spaniard.
Speaking on Instagram Live, Wilshere said: “They’ve got world-class players. They spent £60m on [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang, £40m on [Alexandre] Lacazette, [Mesut] Ozil is world-class.
