Greater Manchester has been hit with a weather warning as torrential rain is set to batter the region - with some flooding expected.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain today (Friday). The warning initially covered parts of Lancashire and Cumbria, but now covers almost all of Greater Manchester too.
The weather alert for our region lasts until 3pm today, with the heaviest showers predicted to fall from around 2pm.
