Met Office forecasts parts of UK will hit 25C this weekend

The Met Office has said London and the South East could see maximum temperatures of 23C on Friday and Saturday, with both days having bright and sunny spells.

Some smaller parts of England, just north of London, could also see highs of 24C or 25C. Greater Manchester is set to stay dry and cloudy, with highs of 21C on Saturday. Read more: While Sunday will be slightly cloudier, the temperature will remain quite high around 23C in most places.
