McDonald's to close early and open late to give staff more time off this Christmas

McDonald's has said branches will be closing early on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and opening late on Boxing day to give staff a break.

The news comes after the burger chain updated customers on how new restrictions will affect restaurants. But even in the highest risk areas restaurants will be open for takeaway, drive-thru and delivery until 11pm.
