Arsenal outcast Matteo Guendouzi has broken his silence after distancing himself from his side's FA Cup Final celebrations. The Gunners came back from 1-0 down to beat Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley on Saturday evening, but the Frenchman was not included in manager Mikel Arteta's squad.
Guendouzi's last appearance came in the 2-1 defeat at Brighton in June, when he clashed with countryman Neal Maupay during a heated fracas.
Arteta has left Guendouzi out of the squad since the incident, initially citing "squad management" as the reason for the omission.
The France U21 midfielder played an important role before the coronavirus-enforced break, making 34 appearances - three of which came in the FA Cup.
