The Health Secretary raised hopes that Britons might still enjoy a slice of summer abroad this year after saying he would not rule out being able to take holidays abroad in July.
Matt Hancock told This Morning he was a “little bit more optimistic” about foreign travel than he has been previously. During one of his previous appearances on the show, asked if "summer was cancelled", he told the show: "I think that's likely to be the case." But today he raised the hopes of millions as he said: "I am a little bit more optimistic than I was about being able to get some foreign travel back up.
