MASTERCHEF's Gregg Wallace has said he "wanted to die" at the height of his battle with booze that left him crippled from loneliness.
The 56-year-old, who credits his four-stone weight loss with cutting down on alcohol and taking up a healthy lifestyle, said he turned to the bottle to deal with feeling alone.
