Massive Attack have helped launch a campaign to expose corporate “greenwashing” at COP26.The Bristol band’s Rob Del Naja has teamed up with green industrialist Dale Vince and artist Bill Posters to reveal the practice, which is the process of conveying a false impression or providing misleading information about how a company’s products are more environmentally sound.
The trio will highlight the issue with a comprehensive data drop every day during the UN’s Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.The first drop contained thousands of alleged greenwashing sponsored ads and content from social media giants that artists claim are “created by the world’s top 100 private and state-owned corporations that are responsible for over 70 per cent of all.
