Independent game company Manticore Games unveiled on Tuesday a monetization system for its free video game creation platform Core, making it easier for users to earn income.
Dubbed Perks, the system is designed to give creators — who build, publish and share games on the platform — a 50 percent revenue share and full control over how they monetize their games, whether it be through monthly subscriptions, in-game purchases or pay-to-play models.
