Jimmy Carr has candidly opened up about fearing his career was over for good when he got busted for tax dodging. The 48-year-old stand-up comedian and television presenter was among a number of high profile star to be busted for alleged tax avoiding back in 2012.
Jimmy was involved in a K2 tax avoidance scheme which was exposed in The Times and accused stars of quitting jobs to sign new employment contracts with offshore companies based in Jersey.
Jimmy has spoken out about his own involvement in the scheme in the past, and described it as a “terribly error of judgement” after he walked away from the scheme.
