Cops have released images gathered from CCTV and social media and issued a manhunt, after the slave trader's statue was rolled into the harbour.Edward Colston's statue was removed from Bristol harbour on June 11 after being torn down by angry protesters and activists rallying for Black Lives Matter.The bronze cast statue was toppled by demonstrators who had gathered in the British city to protest the death of George Floyd – who died while being arrested by police in Minneapolis on May 25.Many residents and activists had been calling for its removal for years, due to Colston's significant and bloody part in the Atlantic slave-trade.Avon and Somerset police officers are now appealing.
