A woman on the way to the shops claims she was hit on the head by a foam bullet fired by police during a George Floyd protest.

Yasmine Morales, 26, was driving through California when she was caught in the line of fire while still in her car, leaving her with a brain injury, reports said.

Ms Morales claims her injuries left her in hospital for nine days with a fractured skull, brain bleed, internal injuries, bruising and impaired vision.

She also says she now needs to use a walker after the injuries sustained in the alleged incident on May 30. Shocking photographs show blood dried all over one side of her face and a black eye.
