The Manchester United Supporters Trust has urged the club to "get the next appointment right" following the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer was sacked by United earlier today following yesterday's dismal 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road, which inflicted a fifth defeat in seven Premier League games on the Reds, leaving them 12 points behind current table-toppers Chelsea.
United had already decided that a change in management was required, but the defeat at Vicarage Road meant that the club felt they had to speed up the process and, ultimately, relieve Solskjaer of his duties.
