Manchester United players returned to training on Monday morning after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer granted them a week off at the start of the international break.
Solskjaer flew back to Norway with his family a week ago to enjoy a brief break before returning to prepare his side for a trip to face Watford this weekend.
United are no closer to making a managerial change after their recent woes and are reluctant to sack him without a contingency plan in place.
The Norwegian is expected to be in charge for the trip to Vicarage Road on Saturday despite the mounting pressure he is coming under.
