Manchester United supporters have set a challenge for Anthony Martial after his loan move to La Liga club Sevilla was confirmed.
The 26-year-old told Ralf Rangnick he wanted to leave Old Trafford earlier this month and having had one attempt to sign him knocked back, the Spaniards have rubber-stamped a move for the Frenchman after agreeing to pay his entire £240,000-a-week wage until the end of this season.
United will not receive a loan fee and there is no obligation for Sevilla to buy the player. In turn, that represents the France international with an opportunity to put himself in the shop window - or return to the Premier League giants having underlined his long-term worth.
Martial has made only 11 appearances for United this season - scoring one goal - and joins a Sevilla team who have genuine hope of winning the league title.
