That's after numerous reports stated that Premier League rivals Chelsea were closing in on a move for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Chelsea had been heavily linked with Sancho, but look to be about to spend around £50million to trigger Werner's release clause.
Frank Lampard's side have already arranged a transfer for Ajax forward Hakim Ziyech, who will arrive in the summer. So it looks certain that the Stamford Bridge club have completed their forward signings for the time being, meaning United supporters are getting more hopeful their club can do a deal for Sancho.
