Chelsea appear numbered after Frank Lampard snubbed the £33million striker in two friendlies over the past week. Along with Olivier Giroud, the Belgian has been forced to play second fiddle to Tammy Abraham at Stamford Bridge this season, with the Blues academy graduate emerging as Lampard’s first-choice striker.Batshuayi has only started five games in the 2019/20 campaign, while making another 19 off the bench.
He is highly expected to leave Chelsea this summer, especially after reports emerged of the club’s £53million move for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.
And according to The Athletic , Lampard all but confirmed Batshuayi’s fate by snubbing the 26-year-old in two recently friendly matches.
