Lewis Capaldi
Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. On 17 May 2019 he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for six weeks.

Manchester's massive open-air gig series Sounds of the City reveals 2021 plans

Sign up for our What's On newsletter - for all the latest whether you're staying in or heading out and about Manchester's hugely popular Sounds of the City gig series has unveiled its 2021 line up and new dates.

The concerts, which take over Castlefield Bowl every summer, will be shifted back to slightly later dates to fit with the Government's current roadmap out of lockdown.

The events will take place in either September of this year, or move to next summer, with a massive line up of music across eight nights.

Headline performances from Foals, Lewis Capaldi, The Streets, Kaiser Chiefs and Razorlight are all among those on the bill. Also taking to the stage will be Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, in support of their fourth album Manchester
