The Norwegian striker checked in to The Lowry Hotel on Monday lunchtime, sporting a blue backpack, as the Dortmund squad arrived in the city ahead of the game.
Haaland is the talk of world football at the moment and the 20-year-old, who has 49 goals in 50 games for Dortmund, caught the attention of autograph hunters at the hotel.
While fans were unable to approach Haaland, Borussia Dortmund security staff agreed to take shirts in for the striker to sign inside the hotel.
