Manchester United are set to adopt a 'try before you sign' policy before letting their youngsters out on loan this summer.United sanctioned 21 loan moves last season, with the likes of Tahith Chong, James Garner and Di'Shon Bernard all gaining valuable experience during temporary stints at Championship clubs.
But in an effort to find the perfect match between a player and their loan club, Old Trafford chiefs have reportedly decided to let some of their young stars go on a three-week trial with any club who wants to loan them.
This will allow the player to see if he likes his potential new surroundings and give the suitor a chance to assess them in person first, according to The Sun.
The Red Devils have a whole host of exciting young stars who will likely head out on loan this season, with the likes of Teden Mengi, Alejandro Garnacho and Garner all possible candidates for a temporary switch.Garner, 21, has spent the last year-and-a-half learning his trade at Nottingham Forest in the Championship.
