Manchester United outcast Jesse Lingard has not started in the Premier League for nearly a year - but his fortunes could change in the January transfer window.
Lingard is being lined up to go out on loan next month - with Sheffield United interested in taking the attacking midfielder until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has played just two games for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side this season - in the EFL Cup back in September - and has not started a top-flight game since January 1.
He is about to enter the final six months of his contract, and his days at United appear to be numbered. But Chris Wilder's Blades could be about to come to the former England international's rescue.
