Manchester United have reportedly been in contact with representatives of Thomas Lemar over a potential transfer this summer.
The French winger is out of favour at Atletico Madrid and looks primed for the exit door at the end of the season. Lemar has previously attracted interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, though it is United who have made the first move.
ESPN report United chiefs have already held talks with Lemar's team last week regarding a switch to Old Trafford. The 24-year-old only moved to Atleti two years ago for £65million, but United will be hopeful of securing his services for a reduced figure.
