Manchester United will make a brazen attempt to sign Raheem Sterling from bitter rivals Manchester City in the event that Pep Guardiola's side's ban from European football is upheld.
United chiefs are well aware that Sterling is current happy at City and a move to United seems far fetched but with no Champions League football he would certainly consider his options.
Earlier today, the Red Devils announced they were extending to loan deal of Odion Ighalo until January 2021. But boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still in the market for more goalscoring power and Sterling, who is closing in on a century of goals for City, would provide exactly that.
