Manchester United have made contact with Bayer Leverkusen over the future of Kai Havertz. The versatile midfielder has taken the Bundesliga by storm this season with 11 goals and a further five assists, and caught the interest of Bayern Munich among others.
News has now emerged that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is pushing the United board to agree on a £90m investment to help his squad climb up the table next season, after previously stating his desire to take advantage of financial uncertainty.
