A dad-of-five who was pepper-sprayed by police after being told to wear a mask on a train says he's exempt from face coverings and is "innocent".

Dramatic footage shows the clash between a lone British Transport Police (BTP) officer and passenger Anthony Baldwin, 34, on a Merseyrail service at Lime Street Station in Liverpool.

The roofer has denied claims that he was coughing at two passengers - the reason police say they were called to the train.
