Manchester City are on the verge of completing of adding another wonder kid to their ranks in the shape of winger Zalan Vancsa.The 17-year-old has impressed at MTK Budapest and drawn interest from some of Europe’s top clubs, including Bayern Munich and AC Milan.But City have managed to fend off that interest.According to The Telegraph, the Hungarian prospect is ‘on the brink’ of signing for the Etihad Stadium outfit.The forward has scored just once so far this season, but his goal-scoring record evidently doesn’t do justice to how impressive he has been since breaking into Budapest’s senior side.It is no secret that City are in need of an out and out striker, though there is an expectation that Vansca won’t be the answer to their prayers just yet and is more likely to be sent back out on loan.With a nine-point lead at the top of the Premier League, Pep Guardiola’s side weren’t expected to spend excessive amounts this month as frankly they are in no rush or need to strengthen.A striker was a priority over the summer but Tottenham were unwilling to part ways with the English no.9 despite the player pushing for the move.But they may not need to, as they are also set to sign Argentinian forward Julian Alvarez this month for £18million from River Plate.HAVE YOUR SAY!
