The Blues have already recruited 18-year-old right-back Yan Couto, with M.E.N Sport reporting how City scouts finally gave the green light to his signing after watching his first game at the tournament held last year before the influence of Pep Guardiola helped him to pick Manchester over Barcelona.
City are now looking to do a deal with Couto's teammate in that side - Gremio midfielder Diego Rosa. Reports in Brazil claim that the 17-year-old will cost an initial £9m with add-ons potentially more than doubling the fee.
