mirror.co.ukA 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering missing teen Louise Smith. Police have also taken a woman, 29, into custody on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The pair were previously arrested over fears they kidnapped the 16-year-old, although they had been released on bail. Louise, from Havant, Hampshire, went missing on VE Day and her body was discovered in a woodland two weeks later.
Officers previously released a CCTV image and appealed for the public's help to piece together the girl's final movements. Police had been searching a flat where neighbours say she had been staying in the days leading up to her disappearance and seen on the day she vanished.
