Madeleine McCann’s disappearance has insisted that despite recent media briefings German investigators don’t have any evidence linking him to the case.In 2019, German police began probing Christian Brueckner, 44, who is currently in prison serving a seven-year sentence for raping an American tourist in Portugal in 2006.
Investigators are now reportedly “100% sure” that he is the man responsible for the toddler’s disappearance 14 years ago. Sources close to the German however told the Sun that Brueckner doesn’t believe prosecutors have any evidence against him.
They said: "B and his legal team remain sure (Hans Christian) Wolters and his investigators don’t have a shred of evidence to convict him on or charge him over.
