Lost star Daniel Dae Kim feels he ‘exposed’ himself to racism after sharing coronavirus diagnosis

Lost star Daniel Dae Kim has said sharing his coronavirus diagnosis publicly opened him up to racial abuse online. The South Korean actor, 51, who is best known for appearing as Jin-Soo Kwon in US series Lost, was tested positive with Covid-19 and has been sharing his experience of the virus to help ‘inform’ others.

Daniel has been active in helping efforts to tackle the current pandemic and has been seen raising money for healthcare professionals, donating his own plasma for research efforts and condemning racism that has been seen targeting the Asian community.

In an interview with New York Times, Daniel reveals that he was subjected to racial abuse online after publicly divulging his coronavirus diagnosis.
