Loose Women's Penny Lancaster started menopause in lockdown after Covid-19 symptoms

Penny Lancaster has shared that she has started the menopause. The 49-year-old, who is married to rocker Rod Stewart, 75, told that she first worried she had the coronavirus before realising that she had her last period in March and was in fact starting the menopause, during Monday's Loose Women.

The model said that she was worried that she had contracted the deadly bug when she woke up in the night with sweats and grew concerned as her temperature kept going up and down.

She also said she began to suffer from bad dreams and weight gain - which are other symptoms that happens to women as they reach their mid 40s.
