Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Loose Women star Carol McGiffin has refused to name the co-star whose annoying habit she "can't stand".The 62-year-old was back on our screens alongside panelists Katie Piper, Kéllé Bryan and Ruth Langsford to discuss the latest headlines in a recent episode of the ITV lunchtime show.Conversation turned to whether or not life is too short for long nails.Carol said: ""Do you know what I hate?

I just can't stand long nails."Carol is no stranger to airing her thoughts and as she recently claimed she felt pressured to deny any rifts between her Loose Women co-stars.It comes amid claims that Countdown presenter Anne Robinson had been embroiled in a feud with her co-star Rachel Riley.During an episode of Loose Women, anchor Ruth claimed that women in the public eye are often "pitted against" one another by members of the public.Katie added: "What happens with women is if you question something or you assert yourself you're seen as aggressive and non-compliant.However, Ruth questioned whether reports of a rift between Anne, 77, and Rachel could be fabricated after the presenter announced her departure after just over one year.She said: "She's literally saying, 'I said I'd do it for a year, I've done it for over a year I've got lots of other things on thank you very much, it's nothing to do with Rachel Riley."However, Carol jumped in saying: "Well, I think there's a lot of pressure on women to deny there isn't a rift going on between other women that they work with."Ruth joked: "What are you looking at me for?" as Carol attempted.
