Loose Women star Carol McGiffin made one of her biggest pet peeves clear on the ITV show during a debate between the panellists on Tuesday.
Carol, 62, was discussing the ideal length for fingernails with co-hosts Katie Piper, Ruth Langsford and Kéllé Bryan, when she revealed that she “can’t stand” a certain style. The presenter said: “Someone who works on this show - mentioning no names - is constantly going…” Katie helpfully demonstrated Carol’s pet peeve by drumming her long fingernails on the glass table top. “Oh my god, that noise!” Carol reacted instantly, flinching away from the “clickety-click” sound.
Katie, 38, shoved her colleague playfully in response, telling Carol that she should “be more nice”. “I am nice,” Carol protested. “I just can’t stand long nails!” The discussion went on during a segment in which the Loose Women debated whether life was “too short for long nails”.
Panellist Ruth Langsford chimed in to show off a French-style gel manicure. “Is that too long for you?” she asked Carol. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter.
