POINTLESS star Richard Osman has reacted to rumours he’ll replace Anne Robinson on Countdown. Last month the telly favourite, 51, walked away from the long-running BBC One series having filmed more than 1,300 episodes andnearly 30 series.
Now fans are suggesting he had a secret plan to takeover from Anne, 77. But Richard has ruled himself out of the race - which currently has Susan Calman, Alex Horne and Jon Richardson as frontrunners.
He wrote on Twitter: "I keep reading I'm the favourite to be the new Countdown host. "But there are 3 problems. 1. I just gave up a show I love because I have no time.
2. @susiedent and I are mortal enemies. 3. They should give the job to @ColinMurray." .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-1czxmma{background-color:rgba(252,239,255,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
