Lorraine Kelly has spoken out after being put on the spot about becoming the new Countdown host following Anne Robinson's departure from the show.
Lorraine was made to address the potential career change after being asked if she'd take on the role on ITV's Good Morning Britain.Anne, 77, who was the first female presenter of the much loved show, said she was taking a step back to spend more time with her family.Anne took over from Nick Hewer last year and was the sixth host of Countdown.GMB's Kate Garraway and Adil Ray asked Lorraine if she would consider taking on the mantle as they crossed over to her programme today.Adil said: "Lorraine, quick one, we are talking to Sandi Toksvig later.
